Our Story – Built on Skill, Hard Work, and Commitment

Lindsey Fencing & Portable Welding was founded on the belief that good workmanship speaks for itself. From day one, our mission has been simple: deliver fences and gates that hold up in real-world conditions, backed by service that earns trust.

Owner Doran Lindsey brings years of hands-on experience working in the field, not just managing from behind a desk. This direct involvement means every project benefits from a personal understanding of rural property needs—whether that’s securing cattle pastures, protecting crops from wildlife, or installing custom gates that make daily operations smoother.

Our company is based in Texas, but our work has taken us far beyond state lines. We’ve built fences across a variety of landscapes, from flat open farmland to rugged ranch country. We are even willing to travel to Las Vegas, Oklahoma, and other areas for high-value projects that demand specialized skills.

What We Do

We provide a complete range of fencing and welding services, including:

We’ve built our business around core values that guide every job

Customer Respect

We treat your property as if it were our own, keeping it clean and organized throughout the build.

Why Clients Choose Lindsey Fencing & Portable Welding

Our clients trust us because we combine technical expertise with real-world understanding of rural needs. Many fence companies focus only on quick installation. We focus on problem-solving and lasting solutions.

For example, a poorly braced corner post can lead to sagging lines and constant repairs. We take the time to set posts at the proper depth, build braces that can handle years of tension, and weld connections that resist wear. Every decision is made with longevity in mind.

Traveling for the Right Projects

While many contractors limit themselves to a small service area, we understand that some projects require skills and mobility that aren’t available locally. That’s why we’re open to traveling significant distances for the right opportunity.

Whether it’s a large ranch in Oklahoma or a multi-acre project near Las Vegas, we coordinate travel, materials, and timelines so the process is seamless for the property owner.
